Hyland to acquire Alfresco

Hyland, publisher of OnBase (a fairly broad solution that includes ECM) finalizing their negotiation about the purchase of Alfresco.

As an integrator, we’re not familiar with Hyland (its market, their methods, their licensing methods, etc.) and the word Open-Source is not concretely highlighted for the moment.

No panic anyway, if this should have consequences on the end customer, this will be seen in advance.

Still one of the great strengths of Open-Source is that other companies (such as Jeci) will always be able to keep your solution installed and support you over time.
