Pristy 26.0: collaboration, classification, supervision

JECI releases Pristy 26.0, the new version of its free software document management suite. Three major improvements for teams: real-time collaboration on Markdown documents, reclassification of existing documents within the filing plan, and enhanced workspace administration directly from the Portal.

Real-time Markdown collaboration (beta)

Multiple users can now edit the same Markdown document simultaneously, without version conflicts, without any external tool. The editor handles concurrent connections via WebSocket — ideal for shared meeting notes, collective knowledge bases, or any document edited by multiple contributors. The feature is available in beta and is enabled by administrators via the COLLAB_ENABLED parameter.

Classification plan reclassification

Version 25.1 introduced automatic classification on upload. Version 26.0 goes one step further: reclassify documents already in the system when your filing plan evolves. A plan that changes should not leave your existing archives stranded.

Enhanced workspace administration

A new dedicated page in the Portal allows managing workspaces, members, access requests and diagnostic tools — without server access, without restart. Both business teams and technical administrators gain greater autonomy.
