Update — OnlyOffice license changeUp to version 9.3, the AGPLv3 license of OnlyOffice Docs was supplemented by a clause requiring the OnlyOffice logo to be retained, while forbidding any use of the trademark. This clause, disputed as incompatible with the AGPLv3, prevented redistributing a modified version under another name.Since version 9.4 (May 2026), the license replaces this clause with terms that comply with section 7 of the AGPLv3: keep the attribution notices, mark modifications, and state the OnlyOffice origin in the user interface. A trademark policy now requires any modified version to carry its own name. The Community edition of OnlyOffice Docs is therefore fully free (libre). The Enterprise edition, however, remains proprietary software.
