Documation is the French leading trade show dedicated to information management, content, and digital work environments.
On this occasion, we will present the latest developments of Pristy, our free and open-source (floss), modular document management solution designed to support organisations in their day-to-day document workflows.
The Document as a Living Object
At Jeci, document management has never been conceived as a simple archiving tool. With Pristy, the document is a living object: it is created, enriched, evolves, is shared, and is contextualised through use.

The new features presented at Documation 2026 are in keeping with this identity.
Configurable filing plans per space now make it possible to adapt document organisation to business contexts without calling into question common governance principles.
User views offer the ability to save searches and find relevant information according to individual needs, while respecting the existing structure.
Pristy now offers direct editing of text content and notes (Markdown), opening the way for integrated knowledge bases within the DMS, close to documents and workspaces.
Collaborative editing has also seen significant improvements: it is now possible to define granular access levels per user, to better control who can read, comment on, or modify a document in real time.
A Modular Platform at the Service of Users
Pristy is built on a modular platform that meets a variety of needs while remaining coherent and scalable:
